Additional Information

See Deposited PLans 1190 and 1132. The former relates to the construction of an open shed with joiner's workshop above. The building 80 feet x 24 feetabutts the property of Inman Brothers and uses their long chimney. When the Inman Bros. submitted their Building Notice (No 1132), the adjacent plot of land between Firth Street and the River Colne was vacant. In this application, F.& H. Calvert seek to add a two storey block at right angles to the main workshops. With the extension, the workshops fill the whole width of the plot facing the River Colne. There is still an extensive open yard.
