The plans provide for the building of a terrace of five small, plain two-storey houses. Each has a part with accommodation for a keeping cellar and coals. There is a row of privies in the yard at the reat of the properties. The five houses are to be built on open groundon the south side of Thistle Street. Between these houses and the junction with St Andrew's Road, the plans show open ground. There is more open ground to the west of the five houses, beyond which are houses belonging to Mr Clarke; beyond tem lies the main Leeds Road.
