Additional Information
THe plans drawn by Joe Heywood, himself,are for a single stporey lean-to workshop and kitchen adjoining the rear of existing premises which front on to the north side of Green Street. Heywood, a window blind manufacturer, conducted his business from these premises where he also lived. A covered passage provided access to the yard ao the rear of the premises. Mr Hetwood's building is directly behind a row of three houses and a corner shop on the eastern side orf St John's Road.
