Additional Information
Proposals are for a two storey eight bay warehoouse 30.5 feet x 73.75 feet over a basement built into the slope of hillside on north side of Bankfield Road. The floors are not sub-divided. The elevation to Bankfield Road appears domestic, but the plans indicate only one door at ground floor level. Mr. Thornton had built a pair of houses further along the road. This warehouse may have been for his own use, or perhaps, more likely a speculative development. See Deposited Plan 1408.
