Additional Information
The plans provide for the erection of a three-storey stone-faced extension with brick walls and piers and concrete floors. The constricted site is only feet wide and 18feet 6 inches deep. The flors are undivided and accommodate a machine shop on the ground floor; cellulose spray room on the first floor and leather drying room on the second floor. There is no basement, though the adjacent premises have a basement. The main elevation of the extension , which looks out towards the railway viaduct, has large windows at each level, and addtional window openings in the gable. Some of the windows open out as loading bays.
