The beautifully drawn and presented plans by the Manager of the Gas Works are fore a New Retort House, a single storey building 430 feet long with two chimneys 140 feet high and ventilation. a New Gas Holder, 126 feet in diameter. a New Purifying Hoouse, a single storey nine bay building 120 feet x 78 feet. a New Meter House.
