Additional Information
The plans provide for the erection of a single storey top lit shed of 12 bays 110 feet x 30 feet built on cast iron columns. There are five ventlators at intervals along the roof, which is 40 feet high at its apex. The shed was to be built on the eastern side of the yard enclosed by existing buildings, forming part of the works. The site lay between Messrs Heppenstall & Sons' Prospect Dyeworks and open ground belonging to the Ramsden Estate fronting on to St Andrew's Road. At the rear of the site was the Gas Works.
The plans were received by G.S.Jarmain.
