Additional Information
The house and shop occupied a site at the junction of Kirkgate and Bradley Street. The shop door was built on the corner of the property. Bradley Street ran from Shorehead (the bottom of Ramsden Street) across lower King Street, to Kirkgate, and was named after the Bradley family who held substantial leasehold property bwetween King Street and Kirkgate. A small remnant of the street survives. David Heaton's name appears on the Building Notice may be the Surveyor or Builder, the accompanying elevations, being simple artisan drawings.
