Additional Information
The plans show a complex of buildings on a triangle of land between the River Colne and the canal. This includes a Stable with sixteen stalls, cartshed, slaughter house, a weighbridge nd a house for the site manager. This was presumably designed to serve the butchery departments of the Co-op's stores and its main branch in Buxton Road.
The treasons for it being disapproved are not given.
