Additional Information
The plans are for two dwellings on a square of land at the junction of Swallow Street and Springwood Street, adjoining existing properties and near one of the'chimneys' from the railway tunnel. The site was already cramped, but the developer was proposing to make full use of the corner site, building two dwelling houses, one incorporating a shop in the prominent corner site. Each dwelling was to comprise :
Basement - cellar; wash cellar
Ground - kitchen (or shop),; parlour
Chamber - three beds.
