Additional Information
The plans provide for the erection of a three storey, four bay warehouse, approximately 38 feet x 36 feet in Packhorse Yard. Sir Charles Sikes re-developed this part of the town in the 1880s. The warehouse stood behind the White Swan Hotel at the bottom of Battye's Yard. The north elevation included loading doors. The main entrance to the warehouse was on the corner of the building facing the White Swan Hotel. The south and west walls of the warehouse abutted neighbouring properties.
