The plans provide for the building of a dwelling house on vacant ground fronting on to Bankfield Road, between leasehold properties held by Messrs Harry Heeley & Herbert Vickerman to one side and Mr Charles haigh to the other.
The dwelling is to be built into the slope, with a kitchen, coal cellar and larder in the basement, occupying the front part of the site. At ground floor level are the be found the living room and parlour. The chamber above has three bedrooms, and the attic a fourth bedroom. There is a privy in the yard behind the house.
The elevation shows decorative details in the mouldings above the double sash windows repeated in the the door lintel. A covered passge leads to the rear of the property.
