Additional Information
The plans provide for the erection of a three storey warehouse, approximately 53 feet x 40 feet on a piece of vacant land behind Alfred Sykes hearth rug works and Myrtle Street fronting on to Viaduct Street. The plans indicate the use of cast iron columns to support the fire proof floors and roof trusses. There is a skylight in the north facing roof. The three floors are undivided, whilst the roof is spanned by twin trusses with a valley between.
