Additional Information

The single, fragile drawing shows the addition of a ground floor W.C. and cloakroom to the George Street residence of Mr. C. H. Jones, who was serving his term as first Mayor of Huddersfield. Presumably, the pressures of entertaining necessitated what might be described as a 'guest cloakroom'. The application was signed by Mr. Robert Hird on behalf of C. H. Jones.
