Additional Information

The project is to build a two storey extension at the rear of an existing property (No. 6, New North Road) to provide a scullery at ground floor level and a Smoke Room above. There is no external decoration shown on the plans, the extension was ,after all, at the back of the property. Internally, the section suggests deepmouldedskirtings and four-panelled doors to the Smoke Room. Dr Thomas Brewer practised as a surgeon in partnership with Mr William Robinson, as Robinson & Brewer Surgeons, from No. 4 New North Road.
