The proposed chimney is 203 feet high and more than meets the requirement of the Huddersfield Improvement Act, which called for a chimney of at least 105 feet.The chimney was to adjoin existing sheds in Hollidays' Yard off St Andrew's RoadTurnbridge.The site was adjacent to Tower Mills, a room and power complex and Messrs Gledhill & Co (Tallow Chandlers) of Turnbridge Road.
